Visitors and Leads - Routes

 

The panel Routes shows per visit which route the visitor has taken on your website.

 

Show details

 

In the Web Analytics menu, select Visitors and click Routes. The data are displayed as a table or chart, depending on the last selection made (see panels).

 

What is shown

 

The panel displays information about the selected time range.

Header

The gray bar shows the name of the visiting organization, the region, the type of organization, time spent on the site during this visit and the number of pages viewed. Also, you can see in the sample above, that this visit is number 126 of 126 during the selected time range.

Technical info

Click  Technical Information to see technical details of the visit. Note Flash and Java Support are being deprecated and may not be available for all browsers.

Symbols

The screen under the gray bar shows the route the visitor has taken on your website, how the visitor entered the website and how long pages have been looked at. Below you see the meaning of the various symbols:

 

Tips

 

Please note that a visitor does not necessarily always follow a logical path on the website. If the visitor opens another tab, and look into different tabs several pages, the displayed route is one that displays the pages in time.
