Installing the Snoobi Analytics code
- How do I install the Snoobi code on my site
There is a Snoobi plugin for WordPress, see details below, For companies using another Content Management Systems (CMS) available e.g. Drupal, the implementation is quite easy. All you have to do is paste the simple Snoobi code snippet that you received from us in the same place where the rest of your tracking codes, such as Google Analytics, are placed. You should look for “Custom Java Script” in your CMS settings. You can find installation instructions below. - For details onthe code, refer to the documentation you have received from us.
- For Wordpress: Select 'Snoobi Analytics' as plugin and follow the instructions. Make sure you have your Snoobi account id and ready
- If you are using modern Sharepoint, please contact us for a custom script
- For Google Tag Manager, using the Snoobi template:
- Click: Discover more tag types in the Community Template Gallery
- Click: Discover more tag types in the Community Template Gallery
- For Wordpress: Select 'Snoobi Analytics' as plugin and follow the instructions. Make sure you have your Snoobi account id and ready
- Search for Snoobi, the click the arrow
- Click "Add to Workspace
- You may notice the warning about '..potentially unsafe 3d party scripts..', but that can be ignored as the Snoobi code is tested safe.
Next, fill in your Snoobi account name (which you have received from Snoobi Support).
Then, finalize with any other action needed, do not forget to set the trigger on All pages
- For Google Tag Manager (direct method):
- The Custom HTML Tag type in GTM allows you to deploy the Snoobi script to your website

To create the Custom HTML tag for Snoobi:
- Click Tags and then New, then give this a descriptive name
- Click Tag Configuration and select Custom HTML.
- Copy the tag code provided (either the full code or the short form) and paste it into the HTML field.
- Note: do not forget to change accountname to the id provided by Snoobi
- Ensure the Custom HTML is triggered on every page, add this as a trigger.
- If needed, select Support document.write to enable calls to document.write() in your JavaScript code.
To inspect differences between versions of your custom HTML tags:
- Click Versions
- Click a version entry that has the version of the custom HTML tag that you would like to inspect.
- In the Version Changes card, click the name of the custom HTML tag to view the configuration changes.
- Click View details View Details to expand the code with differences highlighted.
- Finally, publish the changes to your website

- The following instructions work for virtually any system. Note you may need Administrative access
