How Snoobi handles users that are no longer active
When a user is removed from a Snoobi account, they may still be the owner/creator of information within Snoobi, such as a segment/filter and one or more custom reports.
That would present a problem if Snoobi would completely removes the user. All data linked to the user would also be removed and not be available to be used by others.
But according to privacy rules, we are also not able to keep the user's information in the Snoobi system as that would mean a breach of such privacy rules.
In order to handle these situations, Snoobi will run a monthly process that removes the data for the removed user, but allows for Segments and Custom Reports to be used.
The creator or owner in Snoobi will show as 'User removed' or '- - -', indicating that the original creator is no longer available.
The Segment or Custom Report can still be used as-is, but needs to be duplicated so the owner changes to be edited.
Contact Snoobi support if you have specific questions about removed users.
