 User permissions


In the Snoobi menu, click on Settings, next on Permissions, next on Users. The following screen shows all users with access to the account(s).

 

 

  • Username shows the email address with which the user is registered as Snoobi user.
  • Accounts shows the name of the Snoobi account. If more than one, this will show a number. Click on it to see details.
  • User reports shows the name of the report to which the user has access, or a number if more than one.
  • Email subscriptions shows (if subscriptions are set) the name of the user receiving email subscriptions, or a number if more than one.
    Click on the number to see all users who receive email subscriptions. (Email subscriptions are set within reports or via Report permissions.)

 

Add a user

Click on Add new to add a new user.

 

 

  • Enter the new user's email address and name.
  • Under Account choose the Snoobi account to which you want to give the user access (if your have more than one).
  • Under Language choose the Snoobi language version for the user.
  • Check Send now if you wish to send login details to the user.
  • Finally, click Add.

 

 After a user is created, the user initially has only user rights. If the user should have admin rights, you can customize this by resetting the user permissions.

 

Edit permissions

Move your mouse over the names in the list. This will display a pencil. Click on it to edit the user permissions. This will display a window offering three tab pages:

Accounts

 

This shows the available Snoobi accounts. To give a user permission to access an account, click on +Add permission. Next, choose the account from the list and check either Admin or User access. Finally, click Save.

 

Custom reports

 

This shows all reports created for the account (if any).

 

 

To allow the selected user access to a report, click on +Add permission. Choose an account (if needed), and choose the report from the list. Choose the permission level (Admin or User) and finally click on Add new.

 

Email subscriptions

 

This shows all email subscriptions created for the account(s) (if any). To remove access to a report for this user, move the mouse over the list and click on the trash can icon showing up next to the report at issue.
