Adding e-commerce tracking

Most Snoobi accounts have automatic access to e-commerce tracking.
If e-commerce is not activated for your account, you will see the following when you select 'E-commerce' from the menu:

We will respond to your request within 2 business days.

In addition, in order to start tracking orders in a web store with Snoobi, the confirmation page needs to be modified to add the tracking code.

Most web stores make use of only one confirmation page that handles all of the orders. If this is the case, only that one confirmation page needs to be modified for tracking the orders with Snoobi.

To make Snoobi Analytics track the orders, the contents of the order needs to be found in the html source code of the confirmation page.

In mosty webshops, the buyer is shown the ordered items and other details of the order. That is why installing the web store tracking in most cases is only a matter of formatting the order and its contents in the right way and making some settings in Snoobi.

Note: It may be needed for Snoobi to make additional changes to our database to facilitate tracking and measuring all details. Always contact us before making changes. Depending on your implementation as part of a Tag Manager such as Google Tag Manager, changes may be needed.

Also contact Snoobi Support if you have questions.

Attached are the instructions, please contact us if this is not suffiiently clear.
