Settings - Advertising

In Snoobi, an advertisement can be a banner, email campaign, newsletter, cost-per-click campaign or search engine campaign. You can analyze advertisements in order to know:

  • how many visitors reach your website through an ad and how they behave on the website

  • which channes yield the highest quality visitors

  • which advertisements give the best results

Analyzing ads is enabled by adding a special code. This code is called the Snoobi Ad ID. Snoobi does not only recognize its own IDs but also a number of the Google's UTM codes.

Go to Settings, Advertising to edit settings that enable you to measure the effect of various types of ads:

NOTE: Admin permission is required to edit these settings.

1

Generate ad link

Measuring advertisements is based on a so called Ad ID which is attributed to the target address (URL) of an advertisement. Using the generated ad link, it is possible to measure clicks on ads separately from other page views.

2

Manual  ads

Here you see a list of manual advertisements. Use this to link Ad IDs manually to an advertisement.

3

Automatic ads

Here you see a list of advertisements with automatically recognized IDs.

4

Ad medias

Ad medias can be used to categorize advertisements.

5

Automatic identifiers

6

Campaigns

By creating a campaign you can analyze all advertisements related to the campaign.
Note this is a beta-feature that is under development and may not show in your interface

In addition there is a setting for URL-redirect if you cannot use a direct link to your website. Please contact us for additional information.

URL redirections

URL redirections can be used to analyze pages or advertisements for which it is not possible to use an Ad ID.
