URL-redirects in latest 2023 release

URL redirections can be used for the analysis of links or advertisements in which it is not possible to use an advertisement identification.
This is the case when you are not able to install the Snoobi tag on the target page, e.g. a page on another website from yourself or maybe a supplier. It can also be used when the ad identifier from the browser address disappears when loading the page due to server settings.

The newly created URL of the redirect can also be used as a link in a newsletter or e-mailing, enabling you to analyze results of links to another website.

How to set a URL-redirect

In the Snoobi menu, go to Settings, Advertising and next URL redirects. A list of redirections is displayed.

Click on Add new to add a URL-redirect. Enter the name of the landing page and final url that you want to analyze and click Add

The resulting url will be similar to this:

That is the URL you will use in your e-mail or newsletter as a hyperlink.

The name you have entered will be shown in the report as the page name.

You can add utm-codes to the url to be used for the automatic ad recognizer, or use the id= code in manual advertising settings.

In the Edit column you have 3 options:

Copy - to copy the url to be used
Edit - to edit the text/name
Delete - delete this redirect

Note: The redirect will remain in place if the corresponding Snoobi account is closed or ended for at least 3 months.
