Locations in the Snoobi panels:

- Web Analytics | Content | Session metrics | Session Properties

In most cases, all properties will have the same number of visits and average pages/events per visit. But depending on your implementation of Cookiebot, visitors may be able to bypass the cookie consent banner and Snoobi may not be able to set the status of Cookiebot usage as there are many factors that influence the hand-off between different systems.

When you click on the name of a property, you will see this panel:

False means that the visitor did NOT agree on setting a marketing cookie, while True of couse means that they agreed. That True or False is used for any of the Cookebot setting property in Snoobi Analytics.

As with any Snoobi metrics panel, the information can be viewed as a time-line or even the time of day. Any information can also be added to a custom report or just exported.

Other locations for the Cookiebot setting properties

These cookie consent properties can als be seen in these locations:

  • Site Visitors | Visits.
Here you can see the cookie consent settings for each individual visit.
Clicking on the 'Session properties' option in the drop-down menu for each visit.
Note hat If the option is 'greyed out' then there were no properties set.
  • Site Visitors | Session Routes.
In this panel you already have a full view on all elements that are relevant to a session. The Session Properties can also be viewed from the 'Session properties' link in the header:
The property information will then be shown as follows:

Segmenting or filtering all traffic based Cookiebot setting properties

It is very useful to analyse your web site statistics based on the cookie consent of visitors. Using the segmentation option on Properties this is easy as any type of segmentation.
For example, these are the steps to only show all visits where visitors (aka 'users') did NOT agree on marketing cookies.

First, navigate to Segmentation | Create New , and in Edit Condition choose
Content |Property Content. Choose the 'Marketing Cookies set' from the drop-down and select 'False'. Click 'OK' and then just OK to use this once or Save to save this for later use. We used the naming 'Disallowed Marketing Cookie'.
With this segmentation, all information in Snoobi Analytics is now filtered, you only see visits where the visitor did not agree on setting a marketing cookie. In this example that is close to 13%:

If you want to compare your website performance (for instance for e-commerce or other goals such as a contact form or download), you can now add this information to a custom report and compare these statistics with the information from visitors who did agree.
This is just a quick and simple example. Once you have the feeling for how this works you will be able to create any combination of cookie consent and analyse the outcome.

Renaming the Cookiebot setting properties

As a standard, the properties use for Cookiebot are as follows:

These may be more or less self-explanatory. However f you share reports in a different language or for outside users who are not familiar with this naming then Snoobi has the option to change the name to whatever you want.
Navigate to Settings | Content | Propert settings and edit the name to show whatever you want:
