Content - Landing pages
A landing page is the page where visitors 'land', so the first page they view when they visit the website. Visitors arrive at a landing page through a search via e.g. Google, clicking on an online advertisement through links from a newsletter, or by directly typing the URL in an offline ad campaign, etc. For the analysis, each page can be a landing page.
Show details
In the Web Analytics menu, select Content and click Landing pages. The data are displayed as a table or chart, depending on the last selection made (see panels).
What is shown
The panel displays information about the selected time range. See Metrics for an explanation of the data analysis.
Tips
Investigate if the landing pages are indeed the pages where you want to lead a visitor first. A good landing page directly gives the visitor the requested information and has a Call to Action to guide the visitor further. |
