[EN] How to setup the Google Ads integration (beta)

Prerequisites

You have an active Snoobi account
Snoobi account administrator also has access to Google Ads
Account is accepted as beta tester by Snoobi
You have accepted the beta-test conditions [LINK], this is automatic when you start the request.

Once the account is activated for the Google Ads add-on and the account administrator is a valid beta-test user, two additional panels are accessible in the Snoobi account:

Under Web Analytics | Advertisement, 'Google Ads Landing Pages', the Google Ads results panel.
Under Settings | Advertisement, 'Google Ads Access', the page where the link to Google Ads can be made.

Integration steps

The following steps are needed to complete the integration between Google Ads and Snoobi Analytics.
Note they need to be done by a Snoobi account administrator who also has access to the Google Ads report.

Navigate to Settings | Advertisement | Google Ads access
Click the 'Connect your Google Account' button
On the Google accounts screen, choose the correct Google account and sign in.
Note there will be a message from Google that this application is not verified and that you have given access to an app that's currently being tested. As Snoobi will never change anything in your Google Ads account and only has read-access it is safe to click the 'Continue' button.
There will be an additional message that snoobi.com wants to access your Google Account. Snoobi only reads data so it is safe to continue.
You will now be returned to Snoobi. Note the message: "Connection with Google Ads has been made, but data collection is only possible after the Google Ads ID has been entered.", click the edit button and add your Google Ads customer ID. Make sure it is the correct ID for this Snoobi Analytics account. The ID is in the form of xxx-xxx-xxxx. Click OK on the message from Snoobi that warns about changing your Google Ads ID.
Once the ID has been entered, refresh the browser screen. Snoobi will show the message: "Google Ads data is being collected, this will take a few minutes or longer depending on the size of your account." If you note any error message either from Snoobi or Google, please note this and inform the Snoobi Support team.
Snoobi and Google Ads will now start communicating. As data structures need to be created and the connection to Google is not real-time, it can take some time to complete and you may need to logout and log in again to see the results.
Until data is provided by Google, the result panel at Web Analytics | Advertisement | Google Ads Landing Pages will show the message "No visits or other metrics to show in this period."
